The two sides of isolation: the struggle and the gift

In the quietness, solitude and time alone with self, the heart speaks. What is it saying to you? Just be curious, don’t push the feeling or thought away.  It may be an unhealed wound or the deepest desires of your heart.  Listen to what emerges.  Name the feeling, talk to God about it then reach out to a friend, sponsor or accountability partner today and share what you are sensing.

Psalm 51:6, “Surely you (God) desire truth in the inner parts.  You teach me wisdom in the innermost place.”
1 Corinthians 13:6, “Love, rejoices in the truth”.

No permanent transformation happens until we really get in touch with our feelings and our unconscious beliefs, impulses, triggers & motivations. So listen…. your heart is speaking.

UPDATES/REMINDERS:

1. Starting this coming Friday, at 6:30pm.  We are going to start a "CR Friday Night Live."  There will be a song or two of worship and then a short recovery based dialog between a couple of CR members.  This will be streamed on youtube.  To subscribe to our youtube channel  please click on the following link and select the subscribe button.  CR Youtube Channel Link
2. Note Correction: Starting this coming Friday, we will be starting on-line open share group meetings at 7:30pm (Not 6:30pm).  There will be one mixed issues group for men and one mixed issues group for women.  These meetings will take place using the Zoom App.  In order to participate you will need a tablet, smart-phone or computer with camera.  In order to ensure confidentiality of these meetings everyone who participates will need to find a private room to set up, have their camera on, so others can see that there is no one else in the room and they will also need to wear a pair of headphones so that they are the only ones that can hear.  This is a free app and you can download it on google play, apple app store or through your web-browser on your computer.  If you would like to register for either the men's or the women's share group, click on one of the following links.
