Recovery Thought of the Day - April 12th

Happy Easter CR Family!

Please see below for the Recovery Thought of the Day:

Out of the Darkness

On Good Friday, I couldn't help to think of my own recovery as I heard Pastor Ryan deliver his message.  The end of his message was very powerful, as it was kind of abruptly, ending with nothing but a dark screen.  I imagine that is how Jesus' Disciples felt when he was crucified and that is what I felt before recovery....darkness.  I had plenty of blessings around me, but all I could see was darkness.

This Easter morning we celebrate Christ rising from the darkness, back to life! Thanks to his ultimate sacrifice, I am now able to follow him out of the darkness and back onto a path of healing and restoration!  That is something worth celebrating!

If you would like someone to reach out to you, text us your E-mail and name to 970-645-6109 and we will have someone from within CR reach out to you.

Note: The thought of the days along with other key updates will also be posted on our facebook page (Celebrate Recovery at Crossroads Church Facebook Page) and for those without facebook, they will also be posted on the following blog site: https://crossroadscr.blogspot.com
